Hz

Hertz - Hz - is the unit for measuring frequency in terms of the number of radio waves or cycles per second. One Megahertz (MHz) is one million hertz. One Gigahertz (GHz) is one billion Hertz. 802.11b and 802.11g wireless LANs, for example, operate at in the 2.4 GHz band.
